My Canyon Speedmax CF SLX

This note is dedicated to my friend @grangeblanche who likes beautiful things. I like fancy stuff too and here is my Canyon Speedmax CF SLX 2016-2017.

I apologize for the somewhat average picture for a bike but this post is spontaneous after this evening ride.

I have customized my Speedmax with some nice gear :

• Ceramic Speed pulleys
• Dura-Ace chain prepared by Ceramic Speed
• Hambini bottom bracket (expert craftmanship, one piece BB with top of the game *steel* bearings). I wonder if another crankset could improve a little bit the bike compared to the standard Ultegra one.
• Titanium aero skewers
• 3D printed box behind the Elite aero bottle
• Rar Optimal Wheel with a powermeter hub (G3), craftmanship by a french guy in my area. This is maybe a weak point, but the ROI for Swiss Side wheels was really too high (+ buying a new powermeter). The next update would be to have a disc wheel.
• Conti GP 5000 23 mm front with Panaracer butyflex clinchers, 25 mm rear with Michelin Latex clincher, roughly 85 psi
• Julian Alaphilippe bottle caught in Brussels during Le Tour 🙂
• 9° spacer to level up the aerobars
• Good Snickers to fuel the engine lol
